Cape May has almost 1500 housing units. It has one of the highest median home costs in New Jersey at just over $600k, however, buyers will find homes for sale in Cape May as cheap as the low 100s.

Cape May has a wide range of housing options with only 42% of homes being detached homes. The rest are comprised of townhomes, apartments, and condos. The majority of the detached homes are 1-3 bedroom, single-family houses.

There is a fairly even split between homeowners and renters living in Cape May. 52% of Cape May residents own the home they live in and 48% are tenants.
